Don’t be fooled if it is quiet (we went on a Sunday so it was quiet then but no reflection on quality!). We ate here having been to Japan and the sushi is on par. Try the eel sushi! You’ll love it even if you think “no way would I...”. Really recommended. On our USA road trip it was refreshing to have some good fresh healthy food.

We found Momoya while walking around downtown Memphis and the food was great. Kasey is an excellent and attentive server! I had the grilled yakisoba with veggies and a Japanista roll. They were both delicious. We were there on a Friday night and surprised at how empty it was. This restaurant needs more love!!

Great sushi and Japanese style food. Don’t be put off by quietness of restaurant, we had a range of sushi and some main dishes and all were tasty. The plum wine is also good. The servers were all polite and welcoming. Nice background music playing too.

I recently visited Momoya, and it was an absolute delight! The ambiance is warm and elegant, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The sushi is incredibly fresh and beautifully presented – you can really taste the quality in every bite. I especially loved the spicy tuna crispy rice and the Momoya roll – both were bursting with flavor. The service was also top-notch; our server was attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations.
